Goal: Zero Incidents
Production and profits are never more important than safety. Never.
Philpott Solutions Group is focused on providing its employees, customers, suppliers, partners and neighbors a zero-incident culture. Our goal of ZERO INCIDENTS is founded on the basic principles of management commitment, employee involvement and training, along with hazard assessment and abatement. Safety is a core value within our company, and we expect nothing but safety excellence from our team. We focus on continuously improving personal safety, process safety, health programs, and facility and employee security through training, tools and resources, awareness activities and compliance programs.
We are relentless in our pursuit of safety so every employee and contractor goes home from work each day safe and healthy. Our different machines, tools, moving parts and repetitive motions all require knowledge and attention to detail and process to produce parts safely. Through these practices, the safety management process is designed to establish best practices that make Philpott Solutions Group a better, safer workplace.
Our successful safety process starts with the involvement of everyone from the executive team to hourly workers in a systematic and continual focus on hazard recognition and mitigation. Our commitment to safety extends to the products that we sell. We identify and manage risks through proper product design, handling procedures and operating practices to provide the appropriate level of safety for people and the environment.
“Your safety is our biggest concern.”
Continuous Improvements
To reinforce our commitment to safety, we communicate clear expectations, analyze and manage risk, encourage reporting of incidents and near misses, investigate incidents and take corrective actions. This commitment requires compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, facilities that are designed and operated to high standards, and systematic identification and management of safety, health and environmental risks.
As part of our commitment to continuous improvement, we look at leading indicators that could help with risk prevention and mitigation to reduce incidents further. These leading indicators will allow for a closer analysis of incidents with potentially severe consequences and will contribute to the reinforcement of leadership and organizational behaviors consistent with our unwavering pursuit of operational excellence.
