Our custom rubber extrusions include the ability to cut to length or roll form, along with molded and spliced products, employing salt bath or microwave curing depending upon the application.
We handle all types of extruded rubber materials ranging from dense to sponge rubber. We can also take custom extruded rubber rope and turn it into a square form.
Among our specialty services and products, we offer dual durometer/coextrusion capabilities.
Dual durometer or coextruded parts fuse together two disparate types of material, which can either be two different rubber or rubber-like materials or combine rubber with plastic, into a single extruded part. This allows the customer to take advantage of the natural physical properties of two very different materials with varying levels of hardness, combining a rigid with a soft material in the same component.
For example, a dual durometer part might have harder rubber on one side for attachment and a softer rubber on the flip side to help with sealing. We also supply extruded parts or products with a pressure sensitive adhesive applied to the back.
